I have a Samsung TV and digital cable connection from comcast. I have a set-top box remote which power on/off TV. But I couldn't turn on/off closec captions using that. What's the button to do that?How to enable closed captions using Comcast remote control?
If there is a 'Menu' or, 'Guide' button on you remote, press that.
From there, it is pretty simple.
It will have a list of commands, such as, change screen color, and then at some point down the list, it will show CC (Closed Caption).
Use the remote to your TV, not the cable box.
If there is no menu button on your remote, there is always one located on the TV itself, labeled 'Menu', or 'Guide'.
No matter what, your TV is what sets the Closed Captioning, not your cable box.
