How do i get my blue budgies under control?

Have two apparently female budgies and they are supposed to be hand reared but when ever we try to hold them they go mental.

If they have the tan nose they are female, as males have blue noses.It takes a long time for them to trust you, so clip their wings and hold them lots and scratch their necks a lot. They can give some painful bites though. Just be patient with them, lots of times when you have two birds it is hard to get them tamed they usually prefer each other. so may be separate cages will help. They have to get to know you , and know you are nice to be with, to them we are big giants, that might eat them. How do i get my blue budgies under control?
They probably are reared but if you have moved them from the shop or wherever you got them from to hme then they will be scared, it will take time to get used to you and the new place. Don't try to grab at them or get them out just yet, they are still scared and with you trying to reach for them,it will scare them more. just let them be for a bit.





Talk to them in calm voice, clean them out without letting them out the cage,and occasionally just put your hand on the perch they are one. they will get used to you and will eventually come on your arm,but Until then you have to be patient.





Birds are very sensitive to change, so its best to keep change to a minimum.
