When do i start a new pack of birth control pills?

-This is my first time taking birth control pills


-My period came while i was taking my placebos pills.


-I still have 2 more placebo pills to take;however, my period's almost over.

i take yasmin which had 21 birth control yellow pills and 7 placebos. I always start on Sunday nights or in the morning but you need to take them the same time everyday.. Then you take your 21 pills which will end on a sat and then order new ones and the following sunday start the new pack.. you can take the placebos if you want its just to help to remind you..
Just stay on track, one per day, things will even themselves out. You may be on the placebo pills longer than your period, maybe not, just stay on course!
Finish taking the placebos and then start the new pack. Just like a normal prescription, you take all of the first one and then start the refill.

Every single pack of pills I have ever received has the instructions printed there right on them. Plus an insert. Try reading the material! I'm not saying this to diss you, but you may one day be taking other medications and you should know that you need to read instructions!
Just finish the pack you are on now regaurdless of what your period is doing. Dont start the new pack until your current one is finished, right down to the last pill.


The fact that your period seems to have finished doesnt make any difference to your pill taking schedule. And if its pregnancy you are concerned about, dont worry, you are still protected, as long as you start the new pack when this one is finished.
This is completely normal. Assuming you have a 4 week pack you start the next pack the day after finishing the previous pack

Yes, start the new pack the day after you take the last placebo. You are supposed to get your period while taking the placebos, that's why they are there. Keeping taking the pills according to the package, no matter if you are bleeding or not - eventually the pills will control when you bleed.
