i was given this computer and the previous owners had the computer set to turn off at 8 pm. how do i stop it from turning off.How do i turn the automatic shut off control on my computer?
I don't think the power options will allow you to turn a pc of at a certain time it will allow you to turn your pc at certain idle times like after 4 hours. In the computers BIOS (when you boot up after POST) you hit F2 of del key to get into its setup and there is usually power options tehre for auto start you can check if there is auto shut off
alternatively its very easy to create a scheduled task to shut your PC off at a specific time so check your Windows Scheduler its somerthing that is over looked too frequentlyHow do i turn the automatic shut off control on my computer?
