My daughter is in Russia and when she comes home she only has 28 days for her birth control to be effective. What is the most convenient form that will work in that length of time. Most options need four weeks to become effective.
Condoms would be good to use.
The pill will become effective while she's with you. It only takes a week or two to become effective.
However, your daughter needs to understand that the pill will only protect her from pregnancy. I know many people in Russia and the former Soviet states, and I know that AIDs and other STDs are very, very high over there. She is in more danger from contracting one of these than she is getting pregnant. Condoms with spermicide are her best bet by far.
well, it usually wants you to be on it for 90 days to be effective, the only other ways are abstinence which i guess is not an option, then try some of those new ring things until it's been long enough...aren't there shots and patches now a days?
